ECP reduced UF6 recycling prime cost by 45%

The Electrochemical Plant (ECP) summed up outcomes of the Rosatom Production System (RPS) development in 2011. A total economic effect brought about by deployment of RPS tools at pilot sections was RUB66m (US$2.2m), 3 times up the target, the facility said on February 1. In the uranium hexafluoride recycling section a prime cost of recycling of one ton of the product dropped by 45%, while labor efficiency increase by nearly 50%...
