Busher gets another batch of fuel and control rods
The third batch of containers with nuclear fuel January 18 was delivered to the site of Bushehr nuclear power plant in Iran. As Nuclear.Ru was informed by Atomstroyexport’s spokeswoman Irina Yesipova, the fuel had arrived at Bushehr airport by a special cargo flight at about 2:00 am (Moscow time). The third batch included 24 fuel assemblies (FA) enriched up to 3.62% with uranium-235, 9 CPS rods (control and protection system) and 9 burnable poison bundles (BPB).
