Kazatomprom’s former president sentenced to 14 years of prison
NAC Kazatomprom’s former president Moukhtar Dzhakishev was sentenced to 14 years of a maximum security penal colony and his bodyguard, Talgat Kystaubaev, got five years of a general security penal colony. The court rulings were announced by Dzhakishev’s lawyer Nurlan Beisekeev after the verdict reading out in Saryarkinsky District Court of Astana, Kazakhstan Today reports. “The court considered justified all counts regarding all cases filed against Dzhakishev,” Beisekeev said.
